Tiny giraffes are all the rage these days. While I have been pining for a petite lap giraffe of my own, actual giraffes in Cincinnati have been busy producing their own tiny baby giraffe friends, or I guess, as tiny as a baby giraffe can be (which is probably my size).
So happy belated birthday to Cincinnati’s newest giraffe friend, whose sex will be determined at a later date and is estimated to be between 5 and 6 feet tall right now, so probably actually taller than I am at a staggering 5’1. This is the first giraffe calf born at the Cincinnati zoo in 26 years, so everyone in Ohio is very excited. I am as well, even though I was only in Ohio once, and it was probably enough.
